Getaways is operated by Workshops in Africa. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through getaways.tours. It is an initial draft and must be reviewed for compliance with applicable data-protection law (including POPIA and, where relevant, GDPR) before launch.

When you make an enquiry or a bespoke request, we collect the details you provide: your name, contact details, country of residence, travel preferences, party details and any notes. We record your consent to be contacted.

We do not collect or store full payment card details. Payments are handled by Stripe under their own privacy terms.

We use your information solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare quotes, arrange travel and provide customer service. We do not sell your data.

To arrange your travel, we share necessary details with the relevant suppliers (lodges, airlines, transfer providers) and with our payment processor, Stripe. We may use secure infrastructure providers (such as Supabase and Vercel) to operate the website.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may withdraw consent to marketing at any time by contacting us.
