These terms govern your use of getaways.tours and any booking you make through Getaways. Getaways is a travel brand operated by Workshops in Africa (https://workshops.africa). References to "we" and "us" mean Workshops in Africa trading as Getaways.

This is an initial draft prepared for a first-release website and must be reviewed and finalised by a qualified legal adviser before the platform transacts with the public.

Prices displayed are indicative guide prices in US dollars, per person sharing unless stated otherwise, and are derived from supplier rates quoted in South African rand at prevailing exchange rates.

All prices are subject to availability and confirmation. A firm quote for your specific dates and party will be provided before any payment is taken. Flight rates, schedules and accommodation rates are subject to change without prior notice until confirmed.

Submitting an enquiry does not create a booking. A provisional booking may be held by our team; a booking is only confirmed once we have confirmed availability with suppliers and received the required deposit or full payment.

Where offered, a deposit secures your place, with the balance due before travel as advised in your confirmation. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.

Each package page sets out what is included and excluded. Items such as conservation levies, premium beverages, gratuities, personal expenses and travel insurance are typically excluded unless expressly stated.

Cancellation and amendment terms vary by supplier and package and will be set out in your booking confirmation. A single-supplement or single-transport surcharge may apply to solo travellers. Package rates are non-combinable with other special offers at the lodges.

You are responsible for valid travel documents, visas and any required health precautions. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance. Please consult a travel-health professional regarding malaria and vaccinations.

As an operator arranging services provided by third-party suppliers (lodges, airlines and transfer providers), our liability is limited as set out in the final terms. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
